What ever happened to "ET?"
For me, ET represents childhood innosence. ET was a blockbuster movie made in the 1980s. If you never watched it, asked your parents. When I think of ET, I think of having a sense of wonder and imagination. ET made me think and dream at a young age but over time, those crazy little dreams seem to come and go. ET never left us because he was always there. It was us or more specifically, "I" who let him fly away, never to phone home again.
Today, I will now begin the journey of ET to come home, to be with me and to make me think and dream again. This journey will begin with one word, "Yes." I choose to accept that only the best is in store for my life and my family. I say, "Yes to ET." My mind will never forget ET's magical presence and more importantly, the way he made me feel. Seeing is believing and today, I cannot accept that ET ever left but I can accept that he is back home.
